Mika Taga is a sculptor based in the Catskill Mountains of New York.
Taga works with wood, earth, fiber, and metal.
She creates discrete sculptural objects as well as immersive, site-specific installations that are ecologically attuned to their landscapes. Taga explores sculpture as invitation and activation, and as a practice for learning how to live well: listening, cultivating vitality, and tending relationships.
